First of all, listening to kids argue is so much fun. Just about as fun as looking up info on orange nj cosmetic dentists online or clipping toe nails .. or .. well .. ugh!!!
Anyway, I spent almost the entire day OUT. It was heavenly. I wasn’t child free but having only one to deal with is so much easier. There’s no fighting, or arguing or as much begging for needless items at the store. Heavenly.
I decided early on today that i would just take Ray to work so I would have the van to myself. I’m almost tempted to do that daily. I feel so much better when I’ve been around other people and you know, breathed oxygen!
I had a great Target trip and saved a ton, as usual. $30 this time in coupons all thanks to my newly organized coupon binder. Yes, a binder! I’ve moved on from using those small coupon clutches for my purse and I’m now carrying a regular school binder. LOL It’s filled with baseball card holders (so each coupon can be seen easily) and organized in order of the aisles of my favorite stores. It’s just wonderful. I thought I would feel like a total douche walking around with it but instead I feel bad for the people who are shopping and paying FULL price for stuff. Why do that? I spend a fair amount of time organizing, clipping and making plans but it really pays off. For months now I’ve saved on average of $400 per month with coupons. That’s $400 worth of stuff free. My pantry is overflowing and I haven’t paid for toiletry type items in a couple of years.

Hi Erica
Thats awesome that you had a nice day out to do shopping and spend time with only one child instead of two. I’ve been trying to get ahold of you through email and what not so some how I came across your blog and thought I’d leave a comment so we could get in touch. I should save coupon the extra cash would be banging right now…but although I’m organized I’m too lazy to find coupon not to mention I have no printer for the online ones. Anyway I love reading your blog so get with me and we can catch up.
