Waiting for Martians
My daughter has had one request for her Easter basket, just one wish, and that is that it has MARTIANS in it. Those evil commercials got a hold of her and she is obsessed with this Martian Matter Alien Maker kit from Hasbro. She keeps explaining it to me, how it works, what it’s like .. because she totally knows just from what she has seen on the tv. She would be devastated if the Easter Bunny left a basket without these Martians and while I’m trying to be good and not “spoil” the kids, I had to get them. It wasn’t easy though! I’ve been to all of the stores I could think of around here and no one had them. Not even Toys R Us – sold out. So I had to order them online and wait, wait, wait. They should be here tomorrow hopefully and by Monday I will be picking the darn things up on a daily basis and cleaning the “martian fluid” off of my dining room table, I’m sure. Fun, fun, fun!
