Instead of lying around enjoying the evening, we’ll on sick child duty. 
The girl child is.. well.. you don’t want the details. It’s just icky and smelly AND now Mommy feels like she’s getting it as well. Lovely. I hate germs. I really, really do.
I can’t wait until February. My next ebates payment will be over $80! Ok, yes, I shop online a lot, but it’s amazing to see how fast the little bits add up over time. 
Each of my checks are normally around $40, but my last one never went through properly (my own fault, didn’t have my paypal info updated) so the next payment will almost be double or more. I’m ok with that though. It just makes it more exciting.
I hope everyone has an exciting or at least enjoyable new year. I know mine will be spent indoors, not doing a whole heck of a lot. I was actually invited to a party, but yeah, with no babysitter that’s not happening and I can’t drink anyway. I’ve actually been told to never drink again. I’m a little bummed about that because I’m a very cheap date who gets wasted from a couple of shots. No dancing on the tables for me I suppose!
After having a love/hate feeling for my new camera, I can now say I’m in love. I needed a new pic for my myspace page today and it worked great!! eeeee! If the magic camera can make me look good, then it’s my new best friend. lol
It’s either the camera or maybe having actual blood in my veins has done me some good. My face has color again. My eyes are bright. Best of all?! I don’t look DEAD. heh

There’s someone in our building who keeps letting their nasty dog crap in the yard and they don’t bother to pick it up. Too bad for them we’re watching. We’ve reported them three times in the past week alone and will keep on until they’re kicked out or they.. I don’t know.. decide to grab a frickin’ plastic bag. My gosh. I don’t understand these people. If you want a dog, then be prepared for the poo that comes with. That’s why *I* don’t have one. I don’t want to scoop rank dog crap multiple times per day. This isn’t a toy poodle either. It’s a great big husky that could compete with a horse in the poo-lympics. arrgh. But don’t get me started on that. It’s cruel to have a dog like that in apartment without a yard of it’s own anyway.
Don’t people work during the week anymore???? I swear, every time I go out lately it’s chaos out there. I finally went to get a pedicure (that the hubby had to beg me to do) and I’m just about on the verge of a nervous breakdown from all of the morons on the roadways. It’s just insane! I’m hoping maybe it’s just the holidays and people are all on vacation or something. Oh please let it be that!
Ok, so she’s probably not going to cook up the cure for cancer anytime soon, but that little girl of mine is always shocking me with what she knows. She’ll now name every single color you ask. Well “normal” colors. None of those fancy ones that Crayola makes up. She speaks in sentences now. Like REAL ones. It’s crazy. When we’re out and about all I hear is ..
“Ooh, look dat white car mommy!”
Switch in all different colors and you’ll get the entire car ride. Oh and then she “sings” along with the radio. Oh boy. In her own little way. It’s adorable!! She’ll repeat anything you say and that’s sort of got me into trouble here and there. I was playing around with Ray earlier and didn’t think when I told him I’d kick his ass (totally playing).. but Aubree ran in and told me she’d kick his ass too. Yikes. Mommy must watch her sailor potty mouth. lol
So my external drive arrived yesterday and then I was brought to a different road block on my computer happiness tour – no USB slots left. Um. Yeah. So I had to unplug some other items to make room for new stuff. BUT then I looked around online and sure enough they sell nifty little hubs to fix that problem. So after a quick trip to the local electronics store I now have more than enough slots!! I can even keep my camera’s cord plugged in at all times to easy downloading. Little geeky things like this make me happy and I’m so embarrassed that I didn’t know about this USB hub thingy before.
Is it really too much to ask an ebay seller to maybe.. oh email you after you’ve sent them cash? I don’t know. Maybe I’m expecting too much, but it makes me nervous to hear nothing for days from folks even if they have 100% feedback. There’s always a first for everyone, right? Maybe they picked my money to run off to Mexico with? Grrr. So frustrating. And then after I’ve emailed multiple times they’ll come back with ..
“Oh sorry, didn’t get your emails, had computer probs”
Uh huh. Sure. I use that line with family members who bug me via email when I don’t feel like answering. lol I’m not that stupid. Or well.. 
I finally managed to take photos of everything I need to get rid of (at the moment). Yeah, that was like two months in the making. I think I’ll just ebay it. It’s all Gymboree (girls – 18-24 & 2T) and Skechers (3 pairs). Now it’s just getting the time to list them. Hopefully that isn’t a month’s wait as well. I swear .. love the heathens, but they don’t allow me to do anything. Sure I can blog for two minutes here and there, but nothing that takes more than 5 minutes. It’s ridiculous. But that’s my life I suppose.
