I just thought I’d mention for the other folks who use this type that pure luxe is a great place to buy it! They have awesome samples that are only $1 a piece and after receiving quite a few myself I can say that they will last far beyond sampling. The eyeshadows are enough to help you create quite a stash. 
They’re great for foiling.
I suppose I’ll blog or something to keep myself awake. You know.. toddlers can really destroy things if you fall asleep on the job. *sighs* The one is taking a nap and the other one thinks she’s totally fine without one. She’ll be proved wrong when she starts being a crabby little butt by 3pm and then I’ll force her to take a quick one. arrgh. Kids can suck sometimes. I love mine but I’ll be woman enough to admit that some days they’re lucky I don’t grab my shit and get out of here. lol Though they can be cute at times. Yesterday evening for example! We went to the commissary and on the way back we could see the sun getting ready to set. For some reason Aubree was amazed and kept pointing it out, telling us how orange (I couldn’t even spell how she pronounces orange) it was, and that it was “pwetty”. Then she took her kitty’s head and pointed it towards the window so she could get a good look too. It was too funny. She does that for ‘kitty’ a lot now and while she’s helping her look she’ll say “see da ky, kitty, see!”. She’ll even lay on her bedroom floor lately and look up at the clouds we’ve painted for her and tell me she’s looking at the “ky”. Silly girl.
And eventhough she annoys me to death sometimes, I did order a pic of her on canvas from Canvas On Demand. I upgraded to the 11×14 size and used the $59 coupon that I posted a few days ago. I’m excited to receive it. I’ve heard from a few people who own one on a forum I browse and they’re very pleased. 
I really want to try and get a pic of the two of them together so I could send my parents an 8×10 or something. But they sooooo suck at smiling at the same time or even sitting next to eachother. ugh. They need to make cameras with paralyzing stun guns attached in order to freeze that perfect pose, ya know?
And thing #2 .. walking all over the place today!! He’s getting to be a pro!

Now to look through my photos and pick a favorite! I’ve always wanted one of these but haven’t wanted to spend the $$.
Cox screwed up and billed me even after I transferred our number to Vonage, so I had to call and complain. BUT it turns out to be a good thing because I don’t have to pay for the current bill and I got a credit for he last bill I paid as I wasn’t supposed to pay that one either. woohoo. That makes even more $$ available next payday for savings!
Why is it that guys seem think a celebration is in order every time they do something ‘out of their realm’ of expertise?! Dude cleaned the bathrooms today and was so butt hurt that I didn’t pat him on the back, bake a cake and announce it to the neighbors. Hmm.. clean? Wow.. I thought that was just part of the whole sharing a home together thing. I’m stoked that I won’t be spending Monday morning cleaning them though.
Other than our phenomenal bathroom cleaning event, we went out to shop. I wanted to check on supplies for this cake thing I want to do, and yikes. I could buy a ready made one so much cheaper. Just for the stuff I bought today, not counting the actual ingredients that go into the cake, it was $40. I found the most adorable tiny spring form pan to make his smash cake with though. Oh I just want to make dozens of little baby cakes. It’s that cute, people.
And I applied for some jobs. As it gets closer to fall I want to keep my eye out for seasonal positions opening up. No careers, just lame minimum wage stuff to keep me busy (read: get me away from my kids/husband). Toys R Us is hiring and I can’t help but think of how much fun it would be to work around toys and children.. ha.. like being in my living room minus my own screaming kids and then getting paid for it. heck ya! And hey, there’s a discount! So I submitted an online application there and then for Petsmart. But the Petsmart thing probably won’t work out as I see they have a ‘dress code’ of only one pair of earrings, no visible tattoos or facial piercings. Oh well. They’re missing out on some cool people I imagine. Hmm.. let dogs “shop” and crap all over their floors but people with body art.. oh heck no! I may try Target as well since I’m there so much anyway. I might as well get paid for my time, right? I’m hoping the fact that I want the crappy hours of nights/weekends will help me somewhat. But who knows.. with me being such a menace to society with the tattoos and all. I may just have to settle for sitting my crazy butt at home, twiddling my thumbs. *sighs*
Little man walked back and forth between his Daddy and I tonight and took off by himself a few times as well without any encouragement. Too frickin cool. He’s doing the same as his sister, starting to really walk about 3 weeks before his birthday. Though he’s still in the thinking that crawling is like a bazillion times faster so he switches all depending on where he needs to go and how quickly he needs to get there.
It’s so neat to see how similar they have been development wise.
We headed to the beach this afternoon for a little fun in the sun. You know.. throwing sand in Mommy’s shirt, trying to grab the camera, get sand in the camera’s shutter, eating a lot of sand, screaming at Mommy because she won’t let you play with strangers’ beach toys. heh But all in all it was a lot of fun and I think they are worn out.
It’s crazy to see how much Aub has changed in a year’s time ..
They grow way too quickly .. 
Oh I love that feeling of being right. I’ve warned the husband time and time again that eventhough he works out every single day and isn’t a fat ass, he could very well have high cholesterol and still drop dead. Well of course he hasn’t dropped dead..yet. But he does have high cholesterol, and he was trying to hide it. Too bad he left the info sheets from the doc in the car. Doof. I really don’t think that will change him though. He keeps insisting that it can be inherited so it must not be those Sonic burgers that he loves so much. WTFEever, dude. At least he has life insurance, right? *sighs* What is it with men and their selective hearing/information storage?!
On a brighter note, Vonage finally transferred our number. I have a phone again. One that rings when people call.. like, WOW!! That only took 6 months.
and I’m staying inside in my lovely artificial climate.. heh I hate to see what the electric bill ends up being this month. yikes.
