no, seriously. I do.
Ideas? I have this odd urge to grow things, though I can only container garden for now. I also have this crazy idea in my head that I’d like to paint. You know.. on canvas with brushes. Nothing that would take ‘talent’ though. I’m fresh out of that. More abstract maybe. 5 yr old like.
I just cannot do what all of the cool kids do. I’m not a writer and the only reading I have the time for lately is US Weekly. I have cats and kids so anything with yarn won’t work, there goes knitting or crocheting. I can’t be bothered to read my digital camera’s manual, so a photographer I won’t be. I lack time and patience so scrapbooking is out as well as any digital designing. I’m not cool with sweat, fudging up my manicure or getting my hair icky, so running/jogging/walking and any physical activity wouldn’t work.
*sighs*
Maybe a trip to the craft store or home depot is in order?! At least that would be shopping and we all know I’m awesome at that.
I ordered my Mom flowers for mother’s day. I hope she likes them. I know I would. I love, love, love getting flowers. I’m now wondering if that is enough? I’ve honestly never bothered with much before but I’m in a giving, mend relationships, love everyone type of mood. Maybe I can look around to find something from the kiddos as well. We’ll see.

Holy shnikes.. that kid is really going at it this week with the milestones. There was no rocking, no getting ready of any kind. He wanted a toy and he decided to get off his belly and get it. Too cute! No wonder he never wants to sleep through the night – he’s got things to do!
Good thing we’re already baby friendly so he can’t get into anything that’s a no-no. 
ETA: well except for that ficus tree he just pulled over onto himself. oops
Will’s second tooth popped through! Two teeth in a week’s time. Grow, grow, grow..

Well .. it’s like this! First you snag it on your tshirt as you’re pulling it over your head. Then it’ll most likely rip right out on it’s own with barely any work on your part. Cool eh?
But I can say this actually worked out nicely as I had been wanting to put in a new stud that I bought awhile back. I have never been able to get the original out so I gave up. Not a problem now! I just shoved that sucker in the hole after I pulled the other out the rest of the way.

or screaming, tripping, skinning knees, refusing to go home… ack. But it was fun. A neighbor told us about a park close by and surprisingly it was quite nice with two huge play gyms and lots of space for running around. It would have been better had it not rained all day yesterday. I grew tired of being on puddle patrol and keeping her from running in the water. Especially when a few 10 yr olds didn’t seem to have brains enough to know better themselves. arrgh. The girly girl had a blast, the boy could have cared less. I tried the whole swing thing, which the girly loved at his age, but he only responded with a “bitch, please..” sort of look. He’s a tough cookie, I’ll tell you! He was much happier once we arrived back home. He prefers the freedom of living room exploration I guess.
I realized today that I’m one of those annoying Moms who won’t let their child out of their site. Maybe I’m lame, but it freaks me out if she runs off, or is on the other side of the play structure where I can’t be within quick reach. I’m also paranoid about her being around much older kids and won’t let her nears toys that could be a complete disaster of ER visit proportions. *sighs* But maybe that’s just love.. annoying, smothering, won’t leave you alone, love. I hope I grow out of that before they’re twenty.. or twenty five.

The girl decided she’d had enough of the classic pooh border, so down it came. How she came up with that idea, I’m not sure.
Then I turned my back for 5 minutes and caught her back in her room, door shut, trying to use the phone! Seriously.. she’s going on two right? Not 12!
I was a little miffed about the wallpaper border. But I’ll get over it. I think we stashed some extra just in case.. here goes my “just in case”. *sighs*
I’m having one of those yay days.
My Grandma called to tell me she’s coming for the girly child’s birthday next month. I’m so excited as that means we’ll get at least one evening out of here w/o small, whiney kiddos in tow. yahoo! We haven’t been out by ourselves since Will was born. I told him we should just get a room and take a nap. Who cares about eating out or movies?!
Then an auction that I had to relist (thanks to a deadbeat bidder) ended this afternoon and it actually sold for $50 more than the last time. Now if this person actually pays, that’ll be awesome! I’m guessing there was a bidding war or something. Amazing. But I’m not complaining! I should dig out some more clutter and sell it. It’s so much fun!
The girly girl’s outfits from Gymboree came and are super cute. Though this one isn’t as pretty as it looks online. So .. eh. I’m too lazy to return it though. heh
Now if I can end this day with a bubble bath and maybe 30 minutes of silence, that would be fantastic. The boy is being exceptionally whiney tonight. ack.
As I may have 10 minutes of quiet time..here goes!
Saturday was, well, Saturday. We normally get up early, wander the super walmart for a bit and then grab Starbucks for breakfast. I love Saturday mornings even if they are simple and rather non eventful.
Easter was the usual as well aside from a couple of baskets being thrown about and massive amounts of sugar being ingested. Yikes. Daddy gave the girly girl TWO hollow chocolate treats and she was wired for the rest of the day. Total brat child! I’m glad it’s only once a year! I didn’t bother dressing the kids up, or even make dinner. There’s no point when you have no place to go anyway. Instead I let them hang out in their jammies while we all relaxed and napped. Good times.
In between all of the boredom I obviously worked on this when I didn’t have a small child screaming at me. I purchased the domain about a month ago, found a new host and then did nothing with it. Part of me was sad to move on, but I like the freshness of it. I didn’t have a whole lot of history in my old blog anyway as I just don’t save much. I’m odd about that I suppose. I don’t like to hold onto the past for too long. I prefer to look ahead and this is sort of like a new start for me. I’m tossing out the old drama that was in my life and hoping {{praying}} that I won’t have a need to write about any new negativity. Well.. aside from the normal bickering that I’m so fond of.
Now it’s back to the ‘grind’ of Mommyhood. The hubby won’t get home till maybe 7pm and wow.. that makes for a long day when you get up at 5am with the first little maniac.
