I pack both kids’ lunches 4 days per week. They buy lunch on Fridays as it is always pizza day and obviously for a kid that is a huge deal. The rest of the days are filled with boring lunch items as I am SO out of ideas and many of the ideas I find online will not work for me. Why?

My son is a picky eater. He won’t even attempt to eat many items that normal kids would. The only sandwich he will eat is grilled cheese. I’ve had luck a couple of times with peanut butter & honey but like I said, it was literally only a couple of times. Lately I’ve packed a homemade “lunch able” with crackers and pepperoni along with a snack and a drink. I’m so over his picky eating. At the same time I give him more opportunities to be picky by pacifying him.

Like tonight. I spent much of my evening baking homemade pizza. I then sliced it and packaged pieces in sandwich bags. The kid will probably have pizza for lunch every day this week. Yes I’ll look like a horrible mother but at least I know he’s eating something homemade. Hopefully people won’t judge me. They have no idea what I have to live with when it comes to his eating.
