Dr. Lark?

I have been dealing with horrible skin issues for the last couple of weeks thanks to a mishap with some acne cream that literally burned my face. It’s been awful, painful and embarrassing. I’m on the lookout for my next experimental cream and thinking maybe Dr. Lark products may be fun to try. It would be a very pricey experiment though as this Squalane moisturizer alone is almost $80! Yikes.. and I complain about the $10 tube of junk that I bought at the drug store. I have actually never even heard of Dr. Lark until now. I may have to do some more research before trying anything that expensive.

De-clutter & Re-organize

I think I have finally come to the end of my de-cluttering and I did pretty darn good! With all of the junk I cleared out a couple of weeks ago we made almost $150 at the yard sale. Then I threw the rest that I didn’t want in bags and hauled it off to charity. Having extra closet space as well as extra money feels great! It’s like a weight has been lifted from my chest. I feel so much lighter and free when I’m not surrounded by STUFF.

I can’t help but think about what else I can find to sell around here. I have some lovely designer bags that are just screaming for ebay or craigslist. :)

Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 Preferred Have you heard of Dragon NaturallySpeaking? It’s this fantastic (in my opinion) program that can really cut your time in half when pumping out writing projects of all kinds. In fact if you are participating in November I could totally see the benefits of using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for NaNoWrimo. While I have never had the aspiration to write a novel I could do so quickly with this program, I’m sure. I stick with what I know, blogging, and even though that isn’t all that tedious I can see where it could help me out as well. I’ve tried taking their speed test on their website and found that I type ridiculously slow. At least when I’m nervous and trying to accomplish a decent score. According to the test I could increase my own speed by 190%! If you are curious as to how well you could do, check out Dragon’s typing speed test!

Just thinking about all of the blog posts and emails I could finish off in record speed has me thinking that it could be a very good investment. I spend so much time avoiding work online because I am simply not in the mood to be tapping away at the keyboard. Barking off my thoughts and ideas would be so much easier.

If you would like more information check out the videos below!

I have to say that I am amazed at the program’s ability to spell correctly and even differentiate between different words like their or there. If you check out Dragon Reviews you can see that others feel the same way. I’ve tried software in the past that did the same tasks but on a much lower level and it wasn’t at all accurate - which is why I tossed it! It took longer to deal with than typing the old fashioned way.

Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!

I’m going to change my name! Every time I attempt to do anything I’m interrupted with requests from someone. arrrgh. I did get a few things done this morning though including marking up an entire basket of clothing for our yard sale this weekend. Exciting stuff! lol I still have 2 more LOADS of laundry to sort and mark though so it’s not like I’m out of the woods entirely just yet. Hopefully I’ll make some extra cash from all of this work. If not? I’ll be pretty annoyed. :(
